Chantilly, VA Office (headquarters)

Part Time Accounting Position/Bookkeeper: Responsible individual needed for accounting functions, reporting directly to firm owners and interacting with project managers. Ideal candidate would or be working on an accounting/financial degree and have a level of similar experience with a professional services firm. Knowledge and understanding of various professional service contracts a plus.  Duties would include all accounts payable and some billings/accounts receivable functions. Position would be responsible for preparing monthly billings, job cost reports, reconciliation of cost incurred to cost billed, reconciliation of cash accounts, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Experience with Wind2/Deltek and Excel a plus but willing to train. Hourly pay will depend on experience and qualifications.

Enviromental/Civil Engineer related position open at this location.

We are looking for a self-motivated environmental/ civil engineer. The candidate should have 5-7+ years experience in the preparation of NEPA documents (i.e., FAA environmental assessments and COE/DEQ permits) and related aviation planning and design experience. Candidate must be a registered P.E. or be able to obtain a P.E. within one year of employment and be proficient in AutoCAD, public speaking and overall report writing. We are looking for a positive, responsible, creative and self-motivated Planners to join to our growing team. Qualifications:  B.S. in Planning.  ACIP preferred but not required.  Knowledge of planning principles, statistics, and project controls including scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, and forecasting techniques. Computer proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, and GIS preferred. Applicants need to have the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing and exhibit the ability to work independently.  Also, you will need to have the desire to be challenged, both in the office and in the field. Summary of Job-Related Duties & Responsibilities: Document preparation, concept design development, analysis, report writing, and client coordination. Analytical assignments include cost estimating, scheduling, research of project records, and plan review. Field duties include on-site representation of client; preparation of meeting material and meeting with the public, and taking minutes.

Project Engineer / Resident Engineer positions are available. We are looking for a positive, responsible, creative and self-motivated Project/Resident Engineers to join to our growing team. Qualifications:  B.S. in Engineering.  EIT/PE preferred but not required.  Knowledge of engineering principles, principles of construction management and project controls including scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, construction techniques. Computer proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, CPM scheduling, and cost estimating. Applicants need to have the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing and exhibit the ability to work independently.  Also need to have the desire to be challenged, both in the office and in the field. Summary of Job-Related Duties & Responsibilities: Design responsibilities include document preparation, design development, analysis, specification and report writing, and client coordination. Savannah, GA / Charleston, SC Office

We are currently looking to increase our staff of positive, responsible and creative employees in our Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia Offices.  Candidates must be:

  • Self-motivated engineers with 2-5 years experience in the design of transportation and/or aviation related projects,
  • A registered PE or be able to obtain their registration within one year of employment, and
