-Congratulations to Mary Ashburn Darby, AICP for receiving the 2012 ACEC Virginia Rising Star Award! We are so proud of her and her list of accomplishments continues to grow, way to go Mary Ashburn!
-Campbell & Paris was also recognized at the 2012 ACEC Virginia Gala with the Engineering Excellence Merit Award for our work on the East Apron Rehabilitation & Expansion at Manassas Regional Airport.
-Thanks to everyone who came out for our Richmond Yearly Meeting. We were fortunate to have this year's meeting in the main house of the historic former home of General Robert E. Lee at our office in Richmond. Coincidentally, it was Robert E. Lee's birthday on the date of our meeting. It was great to see so many people we had worked with throughout the year and to spend time with good food and good cheer. Special thanks to Paul Shank for his presentation on the confederate observation balloons and Dee Shifflett for putting together a wonderful event and rangering though the evening despite having a cold.
-During our yearly two day meetings December 13th & 14th we were able to bring together everyone for the year in review and a 2012 forecast. Thanks for attending.

-Recognition in September 2011 issue of Airport Improvement Magazine for Manassas Regional Airport Apron Rehabilitation and Expansion project using recycled pavement in order to save money and time.
-C&P extends congratulations to Chemung Contracting Corporation for winning the Virginia Asphalt Associations Pavements Awards and in the Non Traditional Paving Award category! Chemung executed C&P's engineering design using the recycled pavement method mentioned in the summer newsletter, please scan QR code below.
-Thanks to everyone who came to play golf with us at the Virginia Aviation Board Conference in beautiful Roanoke, VA. We had so much fun and enjoyed a beautiful course, we look forward to seeing you all again at next year's conference in Virginia Beach.
-Congratulations are in order for Mark McGuire, Senior Vice President, for his 6/17/2011 induction into ACEC of Virginia as President Elect! Mark is excited to tackle the position of President next year and we look forward to our continued efforts with such a prestigious organization.
-Congratulations to HD Campbell for the honor of entering the 2011 Academy of Distinguished Alumni at Virginia Tech! We are proud of HD’s accomplishments and are pleased to see him honored in this way by his peers and contemporaries at the school he cares so much about.

- We held our annual meeting December 8th and 9th in the Chantilly Office. It was great to see everyone from all the offices in one place. We were able to discuss many new and exciting technologies and strategies for 2011. We welcome clients to ask us what's in store.
